HostIQ Announces Strategic Marketplace Partnership with Lodgify to Deliver AI-Driven Performance Intelligence for Short-Term Rental Hosts

This milestone means a lot to us. It’s our first partnership, and it’s the catalyst for launching HostIQ V1 — Revenue Optimization Engine. But it’s also meaningful on a personal level because Lodgify has been part of my STR journey for five years. I didn’t build HostIQ from the outside looking in. I built and scaled my own short-term rental business on Lodgify.

Lodgify handled the core PMS essentials: OTA connections, calendar sync, bookings, messaging, my direct booking site, and the operational backbone every STR business needs.

And because Lodgify handled the operational side, it allowed me to focus on the part of the business I’ve always cared most about: driving revenue. Managing vacancy gaps, recognizing and capitalizing on opportunities, tracking performance against goals, building repeat bookings, strengthening guest relationships — the things that actually move the needle.

But when I was building my STR business, I had to collect all that data manually. I transcribed everything into spreadsheets so I could process it, analyze it, and make decisions. It wasn’t fun, but those manual systems worked — and they were a big reason my STR homes were successful from the start.

Fast-forward to today. Eleven months after the first conversations about starting this company.About nine months since spending two straight weeks transcribing every process, scenario, insight, reason, option, success, and failure.

Those manual systems — refined over years — became the blueprint for HostIQ.

So today’s announcement feels fitting. Lodgify was the backbone that helped me operate my properties, and now HostIQ plugs directly into that backbone to help other Lodgify hosts get what I always needed more support with: clarity, insights, and smarter action on filling vacancy and maximizing revenue. It’s an engine that helps me save time and do more — and we have many announcements on the way.
